Close to tramway stations and 15 min walk from the flower market, the beds were clean and comfortable. Perfect value for money!
-
The location was fabulous, a 2 minute walk from the trams and close to Leidseplein and museums
-
Its location, right in the centre of the art museum, restaurant and pubs district.
The lack of a lift! We were barely able to make it up to the third floor with our luggage. Whilst we realize that narrow houses are the norm in Amsterdam for historical reasons, the stairs in your hotel are positively dangerous and would never be permitted in our country on health and safety grounds. We would only recommend this hotel to young and fit persons!

Staff are very friendty

Excellent location in a close vicinity of museums, walking distance from city centre. Helpful staff always willing to help with instructions etc. and you could store the luggage after checking out free of charge.
I booked a superior double room but in fairness the room was so small that it almost felt claustrophobic. My main dissapoinment was the bathroom. In a €150 per night room there was a small shower room cum sink with water pooling on the floor for hours resulting in quite strong unpleasant smell coming into the room. Breakfast (very basic) came at € 6.50 which was a bit pricey too. This hotel although in a good location and with helpful staff came as a big dissapointment and I definitelly would not recommed it..

Close to Museums & tours.

The location of the hotel was great for all the local attractions and nightlife without being affected by noise. The staff were really helpful espcially with booking tours and trips, and even lent me an umbrella when the weather was bad.
-
Friendly service, good location, nice restaurants and bars nearby bed and room was comfy and adequate size
Breakfast - it stated a buffet breakfast for 6.50 euros, but the selection was quite minimal, only hot items on offer were coffee and toast.
-
I very much liked the location right off of Liedseplein. I also liked that the room, while small, was pleasant and comfortable and kept nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful; they even found my wrist watch, which I had inadvertently left in the toilet, and returned it to me.

First Bed and Breakfast styled hotel we stayed in. It is actually a very clean 2 star hotel situated at a great location and it serves its purpose. It is just a stone throw away from the Paradiso and Hard Rock Café, a 2 minutes slow walk to Liedseplein and less than 10 minutes walk to the ever-famous Damp Kring Coffeeshop. The receptionist is very friendly and helped us out throughout our stay in Amsterdam. Having a strict dietary concern, he also prepared the right breakfast catered to our needs. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Location is good, overall service nice and friendly, breakfast good.

Super friendly and welcoming staff, tiny but cute room, hot shower and fantastic central location. We were able to walk everywhere but tram, etc very close too. Our room had magnificent view of Rijksmuseum across the road!
I can see the steep stairs and lack of elevator would be problem for some people, but for me it was a classic example of Dutch canal house. Delightful but not 4*

Very good location, hospitable personel. Very good confort for a decent price.
-
The staf are really helpful and there is someone at reception 24/7 - Great Breakfast for only 5 Euros and in a great location!
It was no issue for me, but some people may have difficulty with the many narrow stairs.

I reserved 3 rooms for two nights. After check in we realised that rooms have no outside view and all you can see is the windows of opposite wall. No sky, no sun, no moon... Rooms are too poor for the money and when we asked if we can cancel second night without penalty, the girl at reception confirmed that it is ok. At checkout the other guy also said that it is ok, but the same day my card was charged for this extra night. Needless to say that this is the most awful experience from Amsterdam we have. Not recommended!!!
